Complete Roof Replacement in Grove City
Last week our team at Supreme Roofing & Exterior was out in Grove City doing a full roof replacement, and it turned into one of those jobs that really shows what we do best and so proud of.
The homeowner had been dealing with some leaks every time it rained hard, which is pretty common around here when your shingles get older. They called us up and we got out there quick to take a look.
When we first showed up, you could tell this roof had seen better days. The old shingles were curling up at the edges and there was some water damage happening underneath. We stripped everything down to the deck because thats really the only way to do it right. You don’t want to put new shingles over problems that are gonna come back and bite you later.

Roof Installation
Our team at Supreme Roofing & Exterior works pretty fast once we get going. We had the whole old roof torn off in no time, and thats when we could really see what we were working with. The base needed a few repairs but nothing too crazy. We put down fresh plywood where it was needed and then started laying down the underlayment, as you can see in the photos. Thats the blue stuff you see in some of the pictures – it keeps everything waterproof while we’re working.
The weather was perfect that day which helped alot. The crew was moving shingle bundles up to the roof and getting everything staged so we could work efficiently. When you do this everyday like we do, you get into a rhythm and the job just flows.
Roof Repair process
Before we put the new roof on, we fixed up all the damaged areas. If theres wood rot or any structural issues, we take care of it properly. The homeowner really appreciated that we didn’t just cover up problems. We replaced some rotted fascia boards and made sure all the edges were solid.
The final product came out beautiful. We used quality architectural shingles that are gonna hold up to whatever weather Columbus throws at them. The color matched the house perfectly and you can see in the finished pictures how clean everything looks. We cleaned up the whole yard too because nobody wants nails and debris laying around after were done.
This whole job took us about a few days from start to finish. Thats pretty standard for a roof this size. The homeowners were really happy with how it turned out and they don’t have to worry about leaks anymore. When the next storm rolls through Columbus, they’ll be sitting inside nice and dry.
